(1747-1804). Daniel Hiester was a
soldier and politician. Hiester served as an officer in the Pennsylvania
militia during the Revolutionary War. Hiester was a Member of the U.S. House of
Representatives from Pennsylvania from 1789-1796, and as a Member of the U.S.
House of Representatives from Maryland from 1801-1804.
