OWI used vessel
2/14/1946 "WSA took custody of the vessel from Army and Department of Information. The crew of 28 Italians left vessel and returned to Italy. By order of General MacArthur, vessel was to be used for radio propoganda station against Japan under the Office of War Information. WSA aided OWI in moving this vessel to the Pacific. Vessel used in Physiological warfare under ""Project Phoenix""."
