for Samuel Huntington (1731-1796).
Samuel Huntington was a Founding Father of the United States, lawyer, and
politician. Huntington was a Connecticut delegate to the Continental Congress
and signed the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation.
Huntington served as President of the Continental Congress from 1779-1781, and
Governor of Connecticut from 1786-1796.
